Andres AG was founded by Konstantin Baertschi as a private company in 1956. Dominic Andres currently manages the family business, now in the third generation, with a prudent and forward-looking approach. The company has also made some important investments in machinery in recent years and modernised the buildings at the Lohn-Ammansegg production site in Solothurn. A clear sign of commitment to Switzerland.

Andres AG works for major companies in the medical sector. Actually we supply turned parts for traumatology, orthopedics, dental, ophthalmology, endoscopy and hearing aids. We supply highly complex turned parts in top quality, which is absolutely critical for this sector. We have many years of experience in validating (IQ, OQ, PQ) production processes and we manufacture according to the GMP and GDP guidelines.

We continuously invest in modern machinery. This way we achieve the highest quality, excellent cost-effectiveness and comply with the customers' flexible scheduling requests. Our current CNC machinery includes 29 lathes.

We use the latest optical and tactile measuring equipment with a camera system and measurement software to test our precision turned parts. We have an air-conditioned measuring room. The monitoring and management is done with MetroStat software. All the devices are regularly calibrated and measurement capability analyses are carried out.
